Things to Know
Drill groups meet rain or shine

Not all development for tennis happens on the court. When it rains our players do strength and conditioning work and/or meet for a "skull session". Skull sessions are lecture/discussions that reinforce what it takes to compete at the highest level students wish to achieve

Drill sessions now offered at other UTA sites

Drills are now being offered at Bitsy Grant, Chastain Park, Piedmont Park, and Washington Park. If you're thinking about drilling at one of these sites, go to the specific website and check out their program and schedule. Contact the appropriate site director to make arrangements to discuss how to become part of the UTA program.

Development Programs

UTA training programs develop the whole player from basic stroke mechanics to point play tactics to helping each player become mentally and physically tough. Drill groups are divided by age and development level, making it easy to find an optimal fit for each player. Each of the six UTA sites have their own drill schedules. Check your UTA site for their schedule.

Drill Groups

UTA drill groups span the entire skill range from Beginner to Nationally ranked Junior players. Initally, we evaluate each player for drill group placement. If interested, please contact the Director at your UTA site to arrange for an evaluation.
