College Placement
Many of our Junior players want to play college tennis. Each year we help our high school seniors to find the right fit—coach, team and school. We work with players (and families) throughout the entire process from understanding what schools to consider, facilitating visits to schools and finally, making a decision. Over the years, we have helped place well over a hundred players at various colleges throughout the country. Numerous UTA alumni have gone on to be named to All Conference teams, become All Americans or win NCAA Championships—players such as: Amanda McDowell, Raian Luchici and Bobby Reynolds. We are proud of our players and our contribution to collegiate tennis. In the words of College coaches...

"Every year when I am at the National Tournaments I see members of the UTA Staff. The reason I see them so much is that they have so many good juniors at the National events. As a staff they know how to develop players into college bound prospects and potential pro players. They know how to take a player from one plateau to another. I am extremely impressed with their operation and how organized they are with their junior programs. They have my vote as one of the top, if not the top, junior programs in the country." - Jeff Zinn, Men's Head Coach, Wake Forest University.
"I think UTA does an excellent job in training elite juniors in and around the Atlanta area. It always seems that the top level players are playing at this academy and I certain it is because of the leadership, the dedication and the hard work this group does to give juniors the best possible environment to train in and they also seem to go the extra mile to help them achieve their goals of collegiate tennis. Their records says it all." - Jim Thompson, Men's Tennis Coach, Virginia Tech
