David is the managing partner of Chastain and junior coordinator with Universal Tennis Academy. He is one of the original founding partners of Universal Tennis Academy in 1996. David earned his bachelors in psychology with a religious studies minor. He is a former number #1 singles player for the Cavaliers and was USTA/Georgia's junior coach of the year in 2002.
In addition to overseeing Chastain Park’s tennis program, David works with the junior program at Oglethorpe and manages UTA’s College Placement Program. David and his wife Ashley, have been blessed with three energetic children: Livi, Kate, and Lex.

Kenyon is managing partner at DeKalb and Chastain Park Tennis Centers. Kenyon earned a Bachelors degree in Communications and English with a minor in Economics. He competed on both varsity tennis and soccer teams at Mars Hill.
Kenyon has been the head teaching pro with some of the top tennis clubs in the Atlanta metro, including Dunwoody Country Club and Atlanta Country Club. Prior to those positions, he was a staff pro at Capital City Country Club. He is USPTA certified and has been teaching juniors for over 20 years. In his spare time Kenyon loves hanging out with his friends and family.

Ashlea was a top 100 nationally ranked junior as well as a 5A state champion. She attended Clemson University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies with a Minor in French. She has earned her Professional Level USPTR certification and has been coaching over ten years.
Ashlea's husband Nick was also a collegiate tennis player and the two have a son, North, and daughter, Hope. They are already on the courts!

Casey comes from a long line of tennis pros with her brother, dad, and uncle still teaching. She was one of the top junior players in Mississippi and became a 3-time Most Valuable Player while attending Birmingham Southern. She was the team captain and named to the Big South All Conference Team. She also was named to the Big South Academic Honor Roll and was named the Johnny Johnston Most Inspirational Athlete of the year for all sports during her senior year.
Casey graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary and Special Education. She taught tennis at the River Hills Club in Jackson, MS. from 2007-2009. Casey helps direct our junior programs and summer camps at UTA.
Casey is also the director for the Georgia Tennis Special Olympics. When she isn’t teaching tennis, she enjoys time with friends, family, and playing golf!

Chris attained a top 4 state, sectional, and national ranking as a junior in Georgia. He went on to earn a tennis scholarship to Georgia Southern where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management. He is USPTA Certified and has been teaching for over 18 years, the last 10 in Atlanta. Chris has taught at clubs in Hilton Head Island and Charleston, SC. He was the Staff Pro at the Capital City Club 2000-2002, and became the Director of Tennis at Seven Oaks in Duluth between 2002-2006.
Chris is married to his wife Heather, and they have a daughter Avery, and 3 cats Chalupa, Henry J., and Lucy. He is a loyal and passionate fan of the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, and Atlanta Hawks!

Cindy is a former #1 player for the Crimson Tide. During her professional career she reached a US top 10 ranking and twice competed in the US Open. She has extensive coaching experience and is certified to be a USTA National Umpire. She has directed many tournaments and was director of the Virginia Slims women's tournament which was held in Chattanooga.
Cindy is married with two children and loves coaching the Quick Start and the Junior Exellence groups.

Erica is a former student at Universal Tennis Academy. She played collegiately for the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she earned First Team All Southern Conference. As an assistant Women’s Tennis Coach at UNCG, Erica helped guide the Spartans to a Southern Conference regular season championship in 2012. She won the 2012 ITA Carolinas Assistant Coach of the Year. While continuing her masters degree, Erica worked with juniors at Green Valley Swim & Tennis Club in Greensboro, NC.
Erica earned a Master’s (2011) and Bachelor’s (2008) of Science in Kinesiology from the UNCG. She completed Master’s of Science in Athletic Training from University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) in May 2014. She is currently a certified and Licensed Athletic Trainer. Erica enjoys working with players of all ages and abilities.
Juan Vazquez was an Associate Tennis Professional and the Men’s & Junior Leagues Coordinator at Druid Hills Golf Club. He was previously the former Head Tennis Professional at Marietta Country Club, at TPC Sugarloaf and at Smoke Rise Country Club. During Juan’s tenure at Marietta Country Club, he was awarded the 2003 Georgia Professional Tennis Association Head Tennis Professional of the Year for large facilities. Juan has been a USPTA and a GPTA certified professional since 1999, and has been instructing tennis since 1997.
Juan played on the tennis circuit for three years and represented his native Puerto Rico in Davis Cup competition in 1993.He was a Junior College National Champion while playing for Georgia Perimeter College in Dunwoody, while holding a Top 10 National Singles and Doubles ranking. He has also participated in three National Collegiate Championships Playoffs and was his school conference’s Most Valuable Player during his senior year at Barton College in North Carolina. Throughout the year, Juan participates in local Club Pro-Am’s, competes in USTA Pro League, and plays at the AA-1 level. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking working in the yard, and spending time with his family.
Kelly began playing tennis at age 5 under the instruction of his father, who is a former college player. Kelly moved to Atlanta in 2004 to become a tennis instructor. Since then, he has led many ALTA & USTA teams to playoffs, City Finals, and City Championships. He enjoys working with adults, but specializes in junior instruction, and works closely with the Universal Tennis Academy at Piedmont Park. He believes that building relationships is one of the most important things we can do with our lives.
When Kelly is not playing tennis, he enjoys cooking, DJ'ing, and spending time with his lovely wife Leah.
A native of Jackson, Georgia and former UTA student, Lindsay competed at the highest levels of junior tennis nationally and internationally before heading to Stanford where she earned All-American honors in each of her 4 year and a bachelors degree in American Studies. Lindsay and her team mates captured the 2010 team national championship as well as the 2010 doubles championship with partner Hilary Barte. Lindsay retired after competing in the 2010 US Open women's doubles event and continues to teach tennis and mentor players of all ages. In her free time, she enjoys riding horses and playing guitar. Lindsay will be based out of Chastain Tennis Center.

Lamar played tennis as a junior in Augusta, GA and then Nashville, Tennessee. He was ranked as a junior in Tennessee before playing for Dillard University. He was captain of both his high school and college teams. After earning a BA in Communications and English at Dillard University Lamar received his MPA in Human Resource Management at Clark Atlanta University.
Lamar has a “professional” Certification with the Profession Tennis Registry (PTR) and it currently playing AA2 ALTA out of Bitsy Grant Tennis Center. Giving back to the tennis community is important to Lamar as he serves on the executive side of ALTA and as the Overall Coordinator for Men’s ALTA, for all the AA and A levels.
Along with tennis Lamar enjoys golf, travel, exercise, and of course the Atlanta Falcons!
Mallory hails from Jackson, GA. She is a graduate of Stanford University with a degree in Psychology. She played on the women's tennis team.
Mallory is an animal lover and presently a Doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology. She will be teaching at Chastain and enjoys working with children and adults.

As an athlete, Robert excelled, winning state titles in soccer, martial arts, and tennis. Originally from Tampa, Robert chose to attend the University of Florida on a full scholarship over college tennis. He later continued his studies at MIT (entrepreneurship).
Robert is a certified tennis professional where he specializes in working with juniors that want to maximize their performance. He is certified by the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) in Performance at the Professional level. He teaches at Chastain Park, Blackburn Park as well as Oglethorpe.
Robert has two kids, both of whom play tennis. His son is an aspiring junior tournament player. When he's not on court, he enjoys climbing mountains, traveling and watching the Gators play.

Ross started working with UTA while still in high school serving as a junior professional at Chattahoochee Plantation Tennis Club. Upon graduation, Ross received a scholarship to play at Oglethorpe University. While attending Oglethorpe, he was a 4-year starter and served as team captain.
Ross graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Business Administration/Economics and was voted Male Scholar Athlete of the Year in both 2010 and 2011. He also made the SCAC All-Academic Team all four years while at Oglethorpe.
Ross is a conditioning nut and works out with weights, cycles, runs, and participates in fitness competitions. He loves playing in any outdoor sports and enjoys watching college football, college basketball, and any Georgia Tech sports teams!

Trey grew up playing state, sectional, and national tournaments from the age of 11. He attended the University of Alabama and was a member of the tennis team for four years, and served as team captain for his final two years. While in school, Trey was a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee as well as making the SEC Academic Honor Roll(tide). Trey graduated in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in Finance and Economics. He is USPTR certified and works with kids and adults of all ages and levels.
When not on the tennis court, Trey is an avid traveler and enjoys playing golf and guitar.
