About Us

Universal Tennis Academy is one of the premier tennis academies in the South. Our tennis staff consists of dedicated tennis professionals who have competed and coached on the international and national level. Our junior players have competed on all levels; from professional to collegiate to national and regional. We have a passion for helping juniors reach their potential as tennis players as well as balanced, well-formed individuals.

At UTA there is something for everyone. If your goal is to be a professional tennis player, we have the resources to assist you in attaining your dream. If your desire is to play collegiate tennis, we have the ability to help you in your college aspiration. And if your wish is to make your high school tennis team, we will provide you with the support needed to make the team.

We take a comprehensive approach to the game of tennis. Our training program consists of stroke production, intensive drill sessions, match play strategies, video analysis, plyometrics, weight training. We have group instruction for players of every ability level with classes every day of the week. The Facility
The Universal Tennis Academy is located at the Chattahoochee Plantation Tennis Club. The facility has 11 lighted tennis courts available for use. There is a full-service fitness center for cardio and weight training workouts. Trainers are available for group and private sessions. In addition, we have a pool with a life guard that is open from May 1 to September 30. The club has a swim team which practices and competes against other clubs in the months of May and June. Summer memberships are available. A full service snack bar is open during the summer months.

Our Pro Shop offers a full line of Nike and Wilson products and services to meet all your tennis needs. We can special order items not in stock as well. All academy members receive a 30% discount on all Nike clothing and shoes as well as all Wilson products. Racket re-stringing is completed on a daily basis.
